Great

This song was very, very nice! You captured the essence of sadness very well in this piece. This is something you might expect to hear in a movie where someone dies and it flashes back to important moments in that person's life, if you understood that at all. Fav'd.

And I did find the strings to be decent. Unfortunately I don't got any idea of any free one's. Just try fiddling around with the EQ and the string you like most until you get a sound you like.

I suggest adding just a bit more reverb to the piano.

BlazingDragon responds:

I can't even tell you how many times I've been told that same exact thing! Not that is is bad to hear, but this is apparently a very cinematic song, lol. Actually, I'm glad to hear it, as I hope to one day score for film. :)

My EQ skill's are lacking, I must admit. I know how to tweak reverb, but that's about it. I find it funny that the piano could use more reverb, as it had too much the first time I posted it. xD

Thanks for the review!

I like it

It's fun, upbeat, nice rhythm. The tempo's pretty fast, but I think the upbeatness of the sounds go nicely at that pace. Although beginning was hard to bear. It was just... Way too loud. Hard on the ears. Trim that down a little and it'd be pretty good.

Good job and keep it up!

delmor responds:

i have not very many up beat songs i am keeping it the way it is :)

Good job.

It felt very mysterious and dark, definitely a nice touch to it. Now for my suggestions...

The strings (the basslien one's) just seems to cut off before they should and then continue on. It kind of sounds weird. Although that may have been intentional. Maybe you should try and make it flow a little better from note to note?

At 1:04 and 1:11 there were those chimes or bells, whatever they were. A good idea but I suggest making them less... Hard and loud sounding so they can somewhat blend with the rest of the song. I dunno, might sounds better.

Those are my suggestions to make it better. Other than that I really enjoyed the song! I liked the end and how it felt so very dark and climactic.

Keep it up!

littlerampage08 responds:

I tried to make it resemble the part in the game when you are walking through the black and white castle.
Hmm...I'll try that next time I use strings for bass
the bells were an idea that I thought could bring in the intro to the actual climax...it was hard to make them not sound too loud, but not too soft either.
Thanks for the review!

HAHA!

That. Was. Epic.

And by that I mean amazing. A very smart concept and original idea. Seriously, I'm gonna keep an eye out for that extended version.

I love the P-Bot theme. It's so... God damn awesome. Like he's some sort of evil, cruel bastard. Kind of reminds me of Nazi Germany! Lol!

Your description made me laugh aloud as I listened to the song.

MaestroRage responds:

I've always thought the P-Bot was cruel. I mean when a flash is saved, all he does is nothing to it (other then throw green and blue food coloring on it if he's forced to). When the flash is blammed, what DOESN'T he do to it?! I mean, he REAMS the hell out of it, disembowels it, probably violates it, insults its mother and buries it into the Newgrounds pit which is probably deeper then King Leonidas' pit of death.

I'm glad you liked it! Thank you for the review, I hope you like the final version ;D!

Nice!

This loops perfectly! And a really like the dark, suspense-like feel it has to it. Very well done.

You should some day make a song off this (aka make it much longer).

Evil-Dog responds:

Thanks for the review :)
Maybe I'll make a longer version....for Wulfgar 2? hehehe
cheers

I listened.

And I loved it. I found myself groovin' to this beat. It's a nice, light, funky, upbeat tune. Overall the whole song is really good, and I don't really have anything negative to say about the song.

Actually, I don't have anything negative. Good job!

keep it up!

DeSire21 responds:

Much appreciated ^_^

Awesome!

Dammit, this song is great. I haven't heard the original myself, but hell, this sounds REALLY good. I'm sure it does the song some justice andthensome. Everything sounds good and nothing (to my limited knowledge) sounds out of place.

Great job with this!

Really....

You should really make the beginning less repetitive. The first minute is kind of annoying and a little hard to bear with. You should probably try and shorten that. Or get rid of it.

I like the rest of the song though, especially at 1:30. That sounded VERY nice. There is this static noise from about 1:50 and on that you should try and fix.

keep it up!

VULC4N responds:

lol. its called distortion. i kinda liked it, added some more oomph to my drums.
as for the beginning? yeah, not much of a classical writer lol. =P thanks tonnes for teh review!

Great!

I loved this! Overall the whole song is wonderful and the piano fits nicely with the mood.

From about 1:19-2:04 it felt like there was a war going on. Like in your description, there's this feeling of a lingering death. The drums really helped to portray that, and made it sounds wonderful.

The ending is well done. You've nicely built it up to the point, just like a revelation might be. The music kind of makes me imagine that the man is proud of his life and is accepting what is soon to come. The drums at the very end also, to me, help me imagine the executioner doing his business.

Your description goes well with the song. :o

Great job! keep it up!

SolusLunes responds:

Thanks for your story!

And thanks for listening to the song :D

Awesome!

This is definitely sweet. Seriously, I love this song. It's got this epic suspenseful,
dark and poetic" feel to it. Great work.

I hope to see some more from you!
