Divine.

Simply... Divine.

You've got extreme talent. And this song is simply... Ah jeez, I'm honestly speechless. I actually heard this a long time ago, and had instantly fallen in love with it. Nothings changed, even now. This just may be my favorite song on NGs.

I love the buildup to the main beats. Ahhh... Everything about this song is great.

Setu-Firestorm responds:

Thanks. Glad you like it.

Tell you what I think?

I think this is amazing. I love how you have it going low energy, high energy, low energy and so on. I just loved the beats and everything sounded good.

Keep it up!

DjKavi responds:

yay yay high energy low energy energy=momentum squared lol yay!!

Eh...

It sort of sounded... "Blah" to me. I've never actually heard the original song, however, you could have made this a little more upbeat in my eyes. Some drums would've been nice, maybe a less dull sounding instrument. You should also try and edit out the silence at the beginning and end of the song to try and make it loop. I dunno.

The tempo was nice though. And it was clear.

But don't let this review discourage. Keep it up and get better!

MAYORMCHEESE responds:

There's some slight 'drums' on there, but I probably should've made them more clear to hear. They're kinda weak when I listen to them now.

The silence at the beginning I could've edited out, but for some reason Newgrounds added a couple extra seconds of silence near the end, that wasn't really my fault.

If I have time tomorrow I'll redo this song. Thanks for the suggestions.

Pretty good

And it was. The body of the song was great, and well done. It had a nice feel to it, and I wouldn't be surprised if the song got used in a least a couple of flashes.

One thing that really bugged me was the end. You should've ended the song at 2:25, since that's pretty much when it did end. Other than that, it was damn good.

Holy jellyrolls!

Damn, this sounds nice! Pretty relaxing, and it jsut keeps getting better and better the whole way through, and you even ended it nicely.

Seriously, great work. Keep it up. Fav'd.

Nice!

Kind of reminded me of something you might hear out of one of the older Final Fantasy games or something. It's got this nice feel to it, very nostalgic for some reason. o.o

Keep up the good work!

Nice!

That's really good! The piano actually fit nicely in it. Although the guitar could have been a bit better.

Good work man.

GronmonSE responds:

Yep, it could have. I would have made it sound better, but my laptop can't take it. Thanks!

Excellent!

That's frigging great! I think this is your best one so far (to me, at least. Altho I haven't exactly heard everything you've made so far)

The only thing I would suggest you do a little differently is make the lead piano a little softer.

knuxrouge responds:

Noted. Thanks.

Love it!

I love the vibe I was getting from it! I could totally see Sega have using this beat for one of the Sonic Levels (if the song was made back then). It kind of has this suspense feel to it, but still has this nice catchy tune that makes it great for some good ol' action. Nicely done.

Also, the beginning kind of reminds me of the beggining to the song "Crabbuckit" by K-Os.

WritersBlock responds:

*goes in time machine to before sega had the music for sonic and hands them my iPod, in which the song is playing*
"What's an iPod?"
Thanks for the review. Strangely enough, I've never heard of a song called "Crabbuckit" before.
Cheers.

Very nice!

I think the strings in the background give it a nice tone. Makes it a little more sad. Love it.

I can tell this is a proper remix as well. For one, the strings, and the piano is different too.
