In other news, I've been motoring along on that new mix. Should be done shortly! It's a cover of the main Zelda tune and I'm likin' it thus far. I'll keep ya guys posted on when it's done.

I also saw Definitely, Maybe recently too. You know, for a romantic comedy it's pretty damn good. Although I may be a bit biased since I pretty much love every movie with Ryan Reynolds in it. He's the guy that's the main character in van Wilder. And apparently he's gonna be in the new X-Men movie too. Wewt.

In light of me being done school, and done working at that too, I've picked up the controller with my new-found spare time. It's glorious, summer that is. Anyways I've started to play Brawl now. I was an avid fan of both games prior and wasn't disappointed with Brawl when I first played it. I've had the game for over two months now and have yet to really dive deep into the game, but so far it's pretty fun. Likin' the Adventure mode too.

Speaking of Brawl, you guys should check out this fucking hilarious flash made by Hyrus. I just saw it moments ago and thought it was bloody hilarious, even if you haven't played Brawl.

Back to gaming, though. I played Mass Effect a while back and loved the game. Hmmm, sweaty alien sex~

I'm also waiting for the MGS Collab to come out. Still waiting... Yepppp.....

Seriously, I thought the songs that appeared there had to be above 4.50? Last time I checked that song was at about 4.40, maybe a little lower. Maybe a bunch of people 5'd it, I guess?

In other news, I'm officially done High School today. YES!

I just had my Grad this weekend. And Safe Grad, of course. It was damn awesome and I had a damn good time.

I'm almost done High School. I'm getting excited for being in the city on my own this fall. It's gonna be crazy!

Some personal stuff has been happening as of late. Like... The past two weeks. It's been intense. Since it's rather personal... I'll leave it at that.

So, I'm avidly watching the Hockey Playoff games (now lol). Mostly just watching the Flames and Habs (Montreal, for those of you not familiar with the nickname). Mostly the Habs. I've already told many a people that I predict them winning the Stanley Cup. They're a fast, strong, skilled team and should be able to pull it off . Although I was watching the Flames game today and I thought they MIGHT be able to do it. I mean... They did come back down 3-0 to win the game. I was pleasantly surprised to see them win the game, and to see Cujo go in. I have a poster of him in my room, and he's still my favorite goalie.

I also noticed, just today, that the portal page has all the characters bearing beards. Playoff beards! I see what you're doing thar, Tom Fulp. We all know that Washington, Especially Overchkin, is going to stomp the ice on the Flyers.

Melancholy Winter

Well, this will officially be my first shot at a MAC. I got an interesting idea for the song in my head, in fact, I have it planned out how I generally want the song to flow. It's just getting the notes right. I've been having a marginally difficult time with this as it just isn't coming out the way I want it. I've even used Hyrus' advice and made a sort of "story" for it. Any suggestions on how to get it out? Or I should say any other techniques I can use? It'd be much appreciated.

And I still plan on doing Zelda covers. They're rather fun and I enjoy doing them. Right now I just kind of got started on the Hyrule Field Theme from Ocarina of Time. I predict myself doing a pretty good job on that (it'll be another classical).

Has been going on in regards to my next song. I've got some projects that need finishing lying around the place, just no time to do 'em (and perhaps there is a lack of motivation to do them as well).

After a lot of time (constant time) I finally semi-finished the song! I decided to post it up in the AP anyways because I think it sounds really good.

Melancholy Winter

So I was making this new song, using some beats I had stashed away in my head. I was putting it into the Piano Roll and continually listened to it (as per usual) when I thought the beat sounded quite familiar. I regarded it as nothing, as I couldn't recal anything that it sounded like.

Anyways I'm working along when I decide to play some Harvest Moon.My last save file was in winter, so whatever. I start playing and whistle the winter theme aloud. And that's when it kicks in.

The song I was making was actually the winter theme (well, kinda. It was fairly similar). So I've decided just to go ahead and do a complete cover of the theme to get it out of my system. I've been working on it for a while now so it should be done soon. It's fairly simple, actually.

I was a little bummed out about that though. I was like "DAMN! And to think I had something good going... Fiddlesticks. Betta' luck next time, I s'pose". Well, I just said that last sentence right now as I type this up. Maybe when I get a lot less busy my head won't be so fogged up and I can com up with a good melody.

SSBB came out here recently too. I really want to get it... But I'm so very poor. I just spent about 300 dollars in one day as I:

1.Applied for housing at the UofA. It cosst $175 just to apply! Fucking madness!.
2. Paid for soccer fees. It costs $85 (pretty cheap) plus $40 for the jersey, which if I return I get the money back.

So I'm broke. And I really want to get GHIII too! T_T
